How does it work?

The idea behind our affiliate program is to reward affiliates who grow with Hosting It Green by increasing payouts as you send more sales. We have in place a tiered structure designed to reward affiliates who promote Hosting It Green and generate more sales. All affiliates start as Silver Level affiliates. Silver Level affiliates earn 25% of our first invoice revenue from the referral. After selling 11 or more hosting solutions, Silver Level affiliates are automatically upgraded to Gold Level — increasing the commission rate to 50% of our first invoice revenue from future referrals, and so forth. The final level is Platinum, where you earn 75% of our first invoice revenue.

How does it work (in detail?)

We will pay you a percentage of the amount of money that the customers you refer pay us in their first invoice with us. The percentage rate itself is determined by your Affiliate Level. For example, a Silver Level affiliate will earn exactly 25% of the revenue paid to us. If you refer a client who pays us $1,000 then we would pay you $250. If you were a Gold Level affiliate, you would earn $500 for the same transaction. Commissions are paid on the 15th of the month, for the commissions which have matured during previous complete calendar month. A commission matures once it is 30-days old. For example, commissions earned during January will mature in February and paid on March 15th. Thus, depending on when you join your first payment may take anywhere from 45 days to 60 days. After that, you will be paid every 30 days. An example transaction might look something like this: Client you refer pays $99 dollars per month for his hosting account. At the Silver Level your commission would be 25% of $99 dollars, or $24.75. Note, if the client would have paid quarterly your commission would be 25% of that invoice payment.
